Mission

The purpose of the Division is to advance the relevant processing knowledge and managerial skills of our members by providing a well-balanced forum of technical information and networking opportunities, to promote and facilitate communication and cooperation between members, and to mentor young professionals. The group combines people with the following professional interests: oilseed handling preparation and extraction, refining and processing, oil products and packaging, feed ingredients, by-product utilization, safety and health, and environmental concerns.  


Newsletters
Members of the Processing Division receive 3 newsletters per year which contain information relevant to the Processing audience. Processing Survey
At the request of the Processing Division Board, AOCS sent a member satisfaction survey out in June 2003 to 1311 individuals (Processing Division members, AOCS members with an interest in processing, and past annual meeting attendees with an interest in processing). We received a 19% response rate. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. The results are included in the documents below.
